Hi David,

I'm an aviation writer who writes weekly air crash breakdowns with a high level of detail, posted on Medium and other platforms, for both professional and general audiences. I was exploring the possibility of writing an article on the Braniff 352 crash when I discovered that you had already done so! While I'm not inclined to skip a crash simply because someone has written about it before—I would have little material if I did that—I thought I would contact you first for a couple of reasons. For one, while I have my own style, methodology, and audience, publishing another long breakdown of this crash on Medium within two years would be a little bit odd without your blessing. And second, if your blessing is in fact granted, I would be very interested in any materials you may have that might be useful for researching the sequence of events, circumstances, technical causes of the crash, and investigative process, beyond those available on the internet. In your article you mention that your father Glenn held on to materials related to the crash and the investigation, which I would love to know more about, along with anything else I might not be aware of, if you are willing to share.

Please contact me at kyracloudy97@gmail.com if you would like to discuss the matter further, and thank you in advance!
