It's not possible to fly with unchanging angle of attack but decreasing speed. Angle of attack and airspeed are both components of the lift equation, so if either decreases, lift also decreases, and the other must increase to compensate or the aircraft will descend. The only alternatives would be to rapidly and proportionally reduce weight, or rapidly and proportionally increase effective wing surface area, neither of which makes any sense.
