Being far removed from the situation, I was relying on third party sources, mainly news articles from the time of the accident, which may have been inaccurate or sensationalized, but no other sources were available. I have corrected everything that you pointed out and removed the photo, and I'm sincerely sorry for any pain that may have been caused by my inclusion of inaccurate information about your family. I've lost family and friends in accidents too and I know how grating it is to hear others repeat false statements about those people that they heard in the media. Let me know if there's anything else you want me to change.

(By the way, if you're interested in scrubbing the photo from the internet—it currently appears on Google when searching for this accident—you should contact staff at findagrave.com, which is where it is hosted. I may have removed it, but because the photo does not belong to me, it could yet be used by others for equally ill-conceived purposes.)
